Up high

This tour takes us right across the city. We will start, however, in the heart of Munich at the oldest high-rise building at Blumenstraße 28. The building type "high-rise" requires a lot of care - especially in Munich. Here, high-rises have always been the subject of controversial discussions. Do they belong to the cityscape or do they disturb the city's evolved silhouette? Well designed and in the right location, they can enrich the cityscape, according to the Munich high-rise study.
