Ten Towers/Telekom Center Munich
For many years, anyone taking the S-Bahn from Ostbahnhof towards Berg am Laim had an unobstructed view of a large wasteland. Since 2005, the five double towers of 'Ten Towers' have been lined up like a string of pearls along the railway line. A circular building completes the ensemble and is clearly visible from Leuchtenbergring. The Telekom complex offers space for 2,500 workplaces and also won the prize for Munich's best commercial property in 2006. Telekom has moved out in 2022 and there are new plans for the site. The Ten Towers and the adjacent "Five Rings" and "Das Leuchtenberg" buildings are to be marketed under the name "Leuchtenbergpark" from 2025. In addition, openly accessible community areas with sports and meeting facilities are to be created on the site.
