Maximilian-Kolbe-Allee is designed as a promenade.
Neuperlach Süd, in contrast to Neuperlach Nord, was not planned as a car-friendly town.
At the eastern end of Maximilian-Kolbe-Allee there is the U-/S-Bahn station Neuperlach-Süd.

Maximilian-Kolbe-Allee
Maximilian-Kolbe-Allee is a promenade that stretches from Dietz-Felbinger-Platz to the 'Neuperlach Süd' bus stop. Various shops, restaurants, the primary school, day-care centres, churches and other social facilities are within walking distance. The Neuperlach Süd stop was unique in 1980: It was the first Munich station where the underground and suburban railway meet above ground. Today, many new things are being built along the Neuperlach Süd station: a boarding house, retail and a Park & Ride facility, as well as a new MVG maintenance hall by 2026.
