Great importance was attached to green spaces in the planning for Nymphenburg Süd.
There are always green areas between the residential buildings.
Thus, quiet and family-friendly neighborhoods were created.
Nymphenburg South Residential Area
Where today there are residential buildings for around 2,400 people on 29 hectares on both sides of Wotanstraße, there were once large parts of the Deutsche Bahn marshalling yard. The new neighbourhoods were designed by various planning offices and thus offer an architecturally varied yet harmonious picture. Particular emphasis was placed on the open spaces in the planning. There is plenty of green space between the houses. Effective noise protection was built along the railway line. A new primary school on Margarethe-Danzi-Strasse as well as two daycare centres and two crèches make the new residential area particularly attractive for families. Profile
