Over the next few years, 725 flats are to be built on the former employee car park on Otto-Hahn-Ring.
A new residential area for different population and income groups is planned. The neighbourhood is to be built sustainably in a compact and space-saving design with five-storey buildings throughout and individual houses of up to eight storeys. In addition to green and open spaces, shops, restaurants and communal, storage and ancillary residential areas will also be possible in future. A twelve-storey high-rise building is planned at the corner of Carl-Wery-Straße and Otto-Hahn-Ring as an urban accent and as a transition to the tall buildings on the Siemens site.
