Historic village center
The 'Alter Wirt' inn, a sacristan’s house, the electoral hunting lodge and houses from the Wilhelminian era are grouped around the pilgrimage church of St. Maria Ramersdorf. They form the historic village center of Ramersdorf. Three large street axes and the Innsbrucker Ring surround the ensemble. Maria Ramersdorf is one of the oldest pilgrimage churches in Bavaria.
The village center of Ramersdorf has been a redevelopment area since 2017. In order to permanently preserve the architecturally and culturally valuable ensemble, the State Monuments Council has decided to include it in the list of monuments. The next step is to create a development plan with green space.
