The “i9 Plaza” was completed in 2019. The block-edge building houses retail, a hotel, offices, apartments and a climbing center.
iCampus
The iCampus is a new office complex in the Werksviertel. It consists of ten buildings with around 18,100 square meters of floor space. In addition to flexible office space, the site also includes hotels, leisure and shopping facilities, doctor's offices, apartments and a bouldering hall. A significant part of the area belongs to the technology company Rohde & Schwarz, which has its headquarters in the Werksviertel. The newest building in the iCampus is the i8, which was completed in 2024 as an innovative wood-hybrid building with Danish architecture and a consistent sustainability concept. An eye-catcher is the listed former administration building of the Rhenania company from the 1920s. The historic villa in neoclassical style has been renovated in a contemporary style, is now called i1 and marks the start of the quarter.
