Baumkirchen Mitte
The new district "Baumkirchen Mitte" has been built on a former railway depot in Berg am Laim. The 13-hectare site combines around 560 apartments and 650 jobs. The development plan is based on the results of an urban development and landscape planning ideas competition from 2010.
In the northeast of the site is the district's landmark, the "Neo": an office, residential, commercial and hotel building around 60 meters high. In addition, 50 condominiums with usable roof gardens and communal areas on the ground floor were built.
