Former telecom premises

Not far from the Aubing S-Bahn station, the new urban quarter "Aubing Mitte" is located on a site formerly used by Telekom next to the cemetery. The centrepiece is a public park. It is connected to the "Colmdorf-Hecke" green corridor - a species-rich green belt of trees and shrubs that borders the site to the south and west. The four residential complexes are grouped around the central park. About 1,000 people live in the neighbourhood. A quarter of the 410 flats are subsidised. Public paths run through the neighbourhood, connecting the adjacent residential areas with the recreational areas in the west. The entrance to the neighbourhood and meeting point is a square in the north. Due to its lower location, it is soundproofed from the suburban railway tracks and the street.
