Former Clubhaus „Franzi“

The "Franzi" clubhouse was located at Schwanthalerstrasse 57 until mid-2023. Behind the listed façade used to be a tire production facility, a telecommunications office and part of the Sabelschule school - for around six years, the building has only been a shell. The owners wanted to make use of the vacant space and have been using it temporarily. The temporary use "Franzi" offered space for events, exhibitions and workshops. The name was inspired by the artist of the neighboring Franz Marc building, number 55, who is said to have lived here in his childhood. During the planned construction work to convert the building into office and commercial space, 17 percent of the building is to remain as it is. The utilization concept envisages reopening the courtyards.
