Offenbachstraße pedestrian and cycle bridge

In August 2023, the new barrier-free pedestrian and cycle bridge over Offenbachstraße north of the railroad line in Pasing was lifted into place. It was opened in May 2024. It now forms part of the main cycle route that runs along the north side of the existing railroad facilities from the city center to the west and connects newly developed neighborhoods east of Offenbachstraße with the center in Pasing. The city council's building committee approved the project in October 2021 at a cost of 5 million euros. The building department had already built a pedestrian and cycle bridge south of the railroad line in 2021, which connects the promenade along the Pasing shopping center with the residential area to the east.
