The elongated office complex on Erika-Mann-Straße is the Munich headquarters of Google. Its name reveals the architectural concept: like a classic office building, the multi-partitioned structure is designed for practicality. Around 29,300 square metres of well-equipped office space are spread across the twelve-storey high-rise and the three seven-storey "battlements" in the Kontorhaus. Flat parts of the building alternate with towers that widen upwards. The tallest of them measures an impressive 40 metres. The façade is made of dark grey bricks - simple like an industrial building and yet elegant. Several arched passageways run towards the street, echoing the architecture of the nearby Hackerbrücke bridge.
