Where the Plett-Zentrum used to be, there are now the 'Life' shopping centre and the 'Vier-Schanzen-Haus'.
This is what the shopping arcade in the former Plett-Zentrum looked like.
Plett-Zentrum
In 2012 the shopping centre on Albert-Schweitzer-Strasse was demolished. Like the Quiddezentrum, the Plett-Zentrum had become unprofitable and dilapidated over the years. A mixture of residential and commercial amenities have emerged on the site where the 'Neue Heimat' administration building was originally located. With its sloping roofs, the Vier-Schanzen-Haus or so-called 'four-hill building', creates the present silhouette along with the turquoise-coloured 'Life' shopping centre. A new ramp was also built in the course of the redevelopment, which means that the district is seamlessly connected to Neuperlach’s center on the other side of Ständlerstrasse.
