Siemens has only been a tenant of the building since 2010.
Siemens site Otto-Hahn-Ring
In 1975, the 'High-Tech-Zentrum' was established as a key Siemens location on an area of more than 30 hectares in Neuperlach Süd. The cross-shaped buildings form a honeycomb structure. Because of the construction and colour, it was often referred to as 'Legoland', with supply lines, ventilation pipes, roof structures and access routes in red, blue and yellow. Here, too, the development continues: Siemens sold its site in 2010 and is now a tenant. 750 new apartments are to be built on the old Siemens car park at Otto-Hahn-Ring in the next few years.
