Am Südpark City District

A new residential area has been created on approximately 8 hectares of land, bordered by Boschetsrieder Strasse and Drygalski-Allee. In the past, E.ON's company premises were located in this area. Today, modern residential buildings are grouped around a central park in six- to eight-storey perimeter buildings. The three courtyards with their characteristic facade designs and communal roof gardens are home to 2,500 people. From the condominium to the flexi-home, 'Am Südpark' represents almost all forms of urban living. There are social facilities, shops and commercial premises, creating 400 jobs in the new district. Extensive soundproofing measures were employed to enable quiet living alongside a vibrant working environment.
